1. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability. A confirmed booking requires either full payment or a 30% deposit. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the booking.
A 2% card processing surcharge applies to all payments made by credit or debit card.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made in writing via your student portal or by email.
- Within 3 business days of booking: Full refund.
- More than 30 days before event: Full refund minus $50 administration fee.
- 14-30 days before event: 75% credit voucher (valid 36 months).
- Less than 14 days before event: Booking enters the resale queue. If your spot is resold, you receive a 95% credit voucher. If not resold, no refund is available.
3. Weather Policy
California Superbike School Australia does not cancel events due to weather conditions. Our training drills are effective in all weather conditions including rain. No refunds will be offered due to weather.
4. Level Progression
Students must complete levels sequentially (Level 1, then Level 2, then Level 3, then Level 4). Level progression is enforced at the time of booking. Students may repeat any level at or below their highest completed level.
5. Safety & Equipment
All participants must wear approved safety equipment including: full leather suit, full-face helmet (current Australian Standard), leather gloves, motorcycle boots (above ankle), and back protector. Equipment will be inspected on arrival. Riders with non-compliant equipment will not be permitted on track.
Participants must complete a safety waiver and briefing before riding. Waivers are valid for 12 months from the date of signing.
6. Hire Equipment
Hire bikes and gear are provided on an as-available basis. CSSAU takes all reasonable care to maintain hire equipment but accepts no liability for mechanical issues. Riders are responsible for any damage caused to hire bikes through negligence or rider error. Hire equipment must not be removed from the venue.
7. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Vouchers may be redeemed in full or in part. Any remaining balance can be used on future bookings within the validity period. Vouchers are non-refundable after purchase.
8. Liability
Motorsport is inherently dangerous. By participating in California Superbike School Australia events, you acknowledge and accept the risks involved in riding a motorcycle on a race circuit. CSSAU and its staff, coaches, and agents are not liable for any injury, death, or damage to property arising from participation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Transfers
Bookings may be transferred to another individual subject to level requirements and administrative approval. Transfer requests must be made via the student portal or by email. The recipient must meet the level prerequisites for the booked event.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
